Pedro Pascal and Alexander Skarsgård Break the Internet with A Smooch at Cannes

Separately and together, actors Pedro Pascal and Alexander Skarsgård inspired a whole new level of thirst at Cannes.
"Alexander Skarsgard felt the love during an electric seven-minute standing ovation for his Cannes film 'Pilion,' and returned it two-fold with a warm embrace and by planting a wet one on the cheek of a smiling Pedro Pascal," The Hollywood Reporter detailed.
Skarsgård plays Ray, a queer biker who picks up a meek, dissatisfied man called Colin (Harry Melling) at a bar on Christmas Eve. An alleyway blowjob follows, as does a burgeoning BDSM relationship in which Colin becomes Ray's sub, and begins to discover reservoirs of strength within himself as a result.
Not that Skarsgård doesn't come on strong in the film, himself: "It's also worth pointing out that Skarsgard's character sports an extra large pierced prosthetic," THR teased, "adding another high-profile example of Hollywood's prosthetic obsession as of late."
The appliance might be essential to the plot; Variety quoted from the film's official synopsis, which shares that, in the movie, "Ray uproots Colin from his dreary suburban life, introducing him to a community of kinky, queer bikers and taking all sorts of virginities along the way."
Gay Twitter had some heated, frantic thoughts about the snog between Skarsgård and Pascal.
"Two gayest straight men," one fan mused, while another cheered, "mmmm and they're both boys".
"who should we be jealous of here?" wondered another.
Even away from the delirium surrounding "Pilion," Pascal – at the film festival to premiere his movie "Eddington," along with co-stars Joaquin Phoenix, Austin Butler, and Emma Stone – created some feverish feelings of his own in fans by wearing a shirt that showed off his well-developed biceps.
Pascal's "simple black outfit," People Magazine noted, "made his arms the primary focus" even amongst the starry company. Fans also homed in on the 50-year-old actor's trim waistline as Gay Twitter exploded with desire all over again.
