Who's That Hunk Walking the Runway? 'Drag Race Vegas' Dancers Get Drag Makeovers

READ TIME: 7 MIN.

"RuPaul's Drag Race" is a fun-house mirror of cross-promotion, so it shouldn't have surprised anyone that this season's makeover challenge episode would feature a franchise from the Runiverse. In this case it is "RuPaul's Drag Race LIVE," the long-running Las Vegas revue that has its hunky dancers perform with "Drag Race" stars. On the episode, the five remaining queens were paired with dancers from the show to create drag looks that show a "drag family resemblance," as well as appear in a dance number that showcased each pair's dancing skills.

When surveying the five dancers, shirtless and in jeans, Plane Jane wondered how she was going to turn a macho man into a dainty, feminine woman; that is, turn their bulky frames into fetching silhouettes. And she found a way, winning the challenge by dressing her partner – ginger Nick Lemmer – in a near-identical outfit (they looked like avant-garde yellowjackets – and by bonding with him about coming out while in the Werk Room. It was also a chance for Lemmer – the least demonstrative of the dancers – to take a walk on the wild side on the runway and impressed the judges.

But even before the runway Lemmer made a considerable impression on Ru when told his drag name – Lazy Susan. In that moment, Ru succumbed to the mother of all laughs in what has to be considered an iconic Werk Room moment. For those keeping score, Plane Jane's win tied her with Saphirra with four wins and puts her in good position as the competition heads to its Final Four: Jane, Nymphia, Q and Sapphira after Morphine's elimination this week.

But who are these the five dancers? And how did they look in drag?

Sebastian Gonzalez Molina

Q and partner Sebastian Gonzalez Molina impressed the judges dressed in white face and dressed in bold, op-art inspired outfits. Perhaps the business of what they wore obscured Q's dancing in musical number.

Sebastian started professional training at the School for the Performing Arts in Puerto Rico at the age of 15. In 2011, reads his IMDBPro page. He moved to Chicago and Los Angeles before settling in Las Vegas where he joined the original cast of "Magic Mike Live." He has toured with danced for Jennifer Hudson and Todrick Hall, and performed for companies like Reebok and Oakley. He also appeared as a dancer on an episode of "This is Us," and bartended for Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live" on Bravo. He is currently appearing in "RuPaul's Drag Race LIVE."

Nick Lemmer

In the competition, Plane Jane and Nick Lemmer wowed the judges with their look and sassy attitude; plus Nick's dancing skills added much to their skilled runway performance. That they looked like a gay couple dressed as abstracted yellowjackets in nearly identical outfits should have given the judges pause; but it didn't. (In other words, duplication is not the same as resemblance.) That Nick and Plane Jane bonded talking about their coming out process in the Werk Room also added to their charisma and charm.

Nick calls himself a I'm a multidisciplinary artist based in Las Vegas and Los Angeles with a passion for performing, photography, music, and nature. He describes his art as "an exploration of human existence; a subject that both perplexes and fascinates me. I'm in constant pursuit of finding inspiration in the mundane, beauty in the ordinary, exploring my queerness, feeling every emotion to its fullest, and romanticizing the hell out of my life in the process." When not performing, he's likely on a road trip, which he calls "are opportunities to search for inspiration, connection, and discovery. For me, experiencing life and documenting it in the process is what it's all about."
